Yea I did too but it sounds more likely now since they're benching Shump tonight.

I really hope this doesn't happen, I like Shumpert.

Doesn't make much sense for the Nuggets IMO.

I don't think it makes all that much sense for either side tbh.

Same. Nuggets lose their only franchise guy aside from Ty and don't really get that great of a player back, and their frontline gets even weaker. I like it a little more for New York, but Faried isn't a great defender and is gonna fill up the 4 spot which Melo should be playing. Although a Faried/Chandler combo could be pretty cool.

It makes even less sense if the Knicks want to pair up Melo and KLove.

I think they're pretty desperate right now to acquire any big.

I might be in the minority here, but I think Faried is massively overrated. Don't get me wrong, I would take him on the Pels in a heartbeat, but I think because of his size and energy he's a better elite big off the bench than a maybe slightly above average big as a starter. If that makes sense.

Id hate to see Shump go, but if we trade him, I wouldnt be against acquiring Faried.

Like nola said, his energy and effort alone makes up for his lack of size/skill

He's the type of player we need. sadly we have to trade 1 of 4 players that have actually showed any kind of effort this season...

I'd actually think of it the other way around GMF.

Me either, the one thing he's supposed to really bring is defense and he hasn't been nearly the defender since the injury.

I would trade him for Faried in a heartbeat.

Knicks don't have the assets to land Faried, simple as that
