The Knicks plan to target Steve Nash, along with Jameer Nelson and Raymond Felton, with this summer’s $5 million mid-level exception.

“You’ve got a guy by the name of Steve Nash who’s orchestrating the offense,’’ Amar'e Stoudemire said. “Things seem to run a little smoother when he’s got control of the ball. But we’ll get there.’’

nash could maybe take that, but i see him as a guy who is too loyal and he may stay in phoenix. raymond wont go back. id be pissed about the trade if i was him and hes doing good in portland. but jameer is a real possibility IMO. i can really see that going down and really it wouldnt be bad.

I think all 3 can get more than 5 million from another team.

Why wouldn't Steve Nash sign for 5 mill to play on a better team?

I doubt Raymond Felton would, but Nash is like 52 years old

i would think nash would sign there for that price. he also already talked about how hed love to play in NY. and it brings him back with amare. that team could be a top team in the league with nash at the point for a few more years.

Because there are better "teams" that he could go to?

I couldn't see Felton taking 5 mil but if Nash really wants to win a championship before he retires he might.

Pipe dreams right here

Nash aint leaving Phoenix
Felts like someone sadi earlier is probably salty over the trade
Nelson is possible, but I could see him bolting to MIA to spite Orlando

Need to make a play for Flynn again, since he's basically 3rd string in Houston

if you saw Nash last night at MSG, you wouldn't be making such an ignorant statement. He does not look his age.

I don't see why Nash WOULDN'T want to play alongside Amar'e and for D'Antoni again, except for what Dez said -- his loyalty to Phoenix. I don't think Knicks would be the frontrunners for any of these guys, but you can't completely rule these guys out.
