The Knicks have decided to buyout Corey Brewer, who was acquired last week from Minnesota.

The Celtics, Spurs, Mavericks and Thunder are all interested in Brewer.

Wow, why? He was their best defender off the bench...

The Bulls should be interested, but why the fuck would we do this? I thought Brewer was actually gonna get some burn. smh

I dont understand this at all.

Maybe D'Antoni wasnt going to use him in the line-up?

I knw we had to get rid of a player to be able to sign Jeffries, but we chose Brewer?

over Balkman?

Corey Brewer, who was waived on Monday by the Knicks, is expected to speak to Rick Carlisle, Gregg Popovich and Doc Rivers on Tuesday.

The Mavericks, Spurs and Celtics are all interested in signing Brewer, who was a lottery pick in 2007.

come on Doc...

like, i know its not really needed, but at the end of the games, they could go with a lineup like this when Rondo needs to be out

Garnett-Green-Brewer-Allen-Pierce

thats good for defense and offense

The reason is understandable but the logic isn't there. Knicks need depth at PF/C, and they're signing Jeffries and Derrick Brown today. So to make room they gotta cut 2 people. Brewer and Azubuike are the two guys.... but why them? I can understand Azubuike, but ya think they'd rather keep Brewer over other useless talents on the team like Balkman & Roger Mason Jr.

That'd be cool if he went to the Mavs. Add to their depth.

I hope Azubuike can get healthy. He is good when he is healthy.

Knicks made a mistake here, and it's clear with the teams that are showing interest that he'll be better off elsewhere.

Yeah he could end up starting over Peja/Stevenson.
