The Sacramento Kings did not move up in the Tuesday's NBA Draft Lottery and will pick No. 8.

But the Kings will put the pick up on the trade block in search of a veteran player ready to contribute immediately instead of wait for a rookie to develop.

The Kings were mentioned in trade rumors for Rajon Rondo before the deadline and Isaiah Thomas will be a restricted free agent.

Dennis Schroeder could be a possible target for the Kings, who were high on him during last year's draft.

This would be the right move for the Kings.

Pistons could really use the 8th pick. There will be some nice shooters there that they desperately need. I wonder what the Kings would want in a deal. Monroe?

Monroe for 8 might work if the kings are ready to shell out

But idk how he and dmc would work

Afflalo? idk, I don't see a trade scenario for a PG or a PF, the two positions they'd probably like to fill by trading this pick

thats not a dumb trade..

jt and #8 for gmoe is actually fairly solid; depending in who is available at that slot.

dmc and gmoe don't fit imo. and rather move higher in we could. really wanted exum in detroit.

Yeah they don't fit together, but I'd consider 8 for Moose.

Why would Monroe for 8 be bad for the Pistons?  I thought people would think it was stupid because the Kings wouldn't want to put Monroe in the same front court as Cousins.
