The Sacramento Kings have been attempting to move the contracts of Jimmer Fredette and Chuck Hayes to the Cleveland Cavaliers in order to create enough cap space to sign Monta Ellis.

Hayes' contracts runs through 14-15, which would compromise the Cavaliers' cap space for 2014.

With the Denver Nuggets moving toward acquiring Randy Foye and the Atlanta Hawks now also pursuing Brandon Jennings, the Kings may become the best opportunity for Ellis to get a multi-year deal.

The idea that the Kings would let Reke go then pursue Ellis is hilarious to me.

At least they're tryna make moves. But agreed with Nola, not sure why you pursue Monta after letting Tyreke walk. At least Tyreke had the size to play him at the 3.
