Kings, RudyGay agree to extension

The Sacramento Kings have come to terms with Rudy Gay on an extension that will pay the 28-year-old $40 million over three seasons, Yahoo Sports' Adrian Wojnarowski reports.

The deal, which will kick in for the 2015-16, includes a player option for Year 3, meaning Gay can become a free agent in the summer of 2017.

This is pretty nice value for Sacramento, assuming they keep getting the Rudy Gay from the second half of last year and the start of this year.
