Rich Hammond of lakingsinsider.com reports Johnson will make $3.5 million in each of the first three years, starting next season, and then $5 million per year in each of the final four seasons.
Johnson, who turns 24 on Thursday, entered Saturday's game against Columbus with 4 goals and 24 assists in 40 games. The Indianapolis, Ind., native has 21 goals and 65 assists in 240 NHL games.
