Free agent Kevin Faulk confirmed that he will not retire.
Even if he's re-signed, Faulk's roster spot with the Patrios is on very shaky ground. They drafted Shane Vereen and Stevan Ridley while Danny Woodhead was already filling in spectacularly as the third-down back. At age 35 and coming off ACL surgery, Faulk seems destined to go down with a fight at training camp.

I hate this move for Faulk of coming back.

He's clearly seen his best days in this league, and not to mention the draft the Patriots had clearly pushes him out. Drafting Vereen and Ridley is a clear indication they want to move forward with different backs in the system.

I guess he thinks he'll be able to find a good spot somewhere, wherever that may be, because it wont be on the Patriots.
