Kenyon Martin signs deal with China team

When the Denver Nuggets never came through with a contract offer, Kenyon Martin opted to sign with a Chinese team, and the 33-year-old forward is at peace with his decision.

“I’m a grown man. Nobody is forcing me to do it,” Martin, who spent seven seasons with the Nuggets, told Yahoo! Sports. “I don’t need the money. It ain’t about the money. The money is great, but I don’t need it.

There are a few Nuggets (or former Nuggets) going abroad. Smith, Chandler, Gallo, Martin.

How many are going to China though? Cause the players that go to China don't have an opt out. They have to stay for the full season.

I know Smith did, now Martin...if the lockout ends soonish...could be bad news for the Nuggets.

Gallo went to Italy and Chandler went to China.

Dang 3 guys to China...Smith and Chandler will be missed if the season gets going this year. But Faried should soften the blow of Martin, and Gallo should soften the blow of Chandler (he'll play more minutes)
