Kellen Winslow is on the way out in Tampa Bay.

Winslow, who has played tight end for the Buccaneers for the last three seasons, said today on Sirius XM NFL Radio that the Bucs have told him they don’t want him and will help him find the right team to trade him to.

If the Bucs can’t find a trading partner, they’ll likely release him.

Winslow has been a solid player for his three seasons in Tampa Bay, never missing a game and having more than 700 receiving yards all three years. But it wouldn’t be surprising if new coach Greg Schiano didn’t see eye to eye with Winslow on a number of things, including the fact that Winslow prefers to sit out practices to rest his bad knee.

Although Winslow said the Bears were engaged in trade talks about him before the draft, nothing materialized there. Despite Winslow’s enormous athletic talent, those knee issues may make it tough for any team to clear him to play. At age 28, Winslow doesn’t have a lot left.

Dude hasn't missed a game in three seasons and hasn't missed a game in 5 out of his last 6 seasons, yet he doesn't have a lot in the tank? He also has put up numbers with shitty QB play in the majority of his years in the league, yet he doesn't have a lot left in the tank?

Who the fuck wrote this?

Could see Carolina going after him. They need another TE to pair with Olsen now that Shockey is gone and they use a lot of 2 TE sets.

Atleast you guys didn't sign Clark lol
We were interested by him for a one year, non guaranteed deal.

That would be good insurance as a #4 TE, in case someone goes down, or Welker gains trade value and we want to move him
