Don't think ESPN will be in trouble. Instead the person who leaked it to ESPN is in trouble. The press has a right to report on illegally obtained documents as long as they aren't the ones illegally obtaining them.

I think you're right, but there should be something in place that punishes corporations who clearly pay for this shit or at the very least scramble to be first. Someone most likely stole the documents with the intention of selling/leaking on a bigger platform, thus making that bigger platform just as guilty in my eyes.
