Josh Smith to Pistons?

The Pistons are reportedly keeping an eye on the status of Atlanta swingman Josh Smith, according to The Detroit News.

Smith is a restricted free agent and is reportedly seeking a deal in excess of $11 million.

If the Hawks aren't willing to give Smith that much money, the Pistons are expected to make a play for the athletic forward.

This is what making em ahppy, it really seems like Jor and Mr. Davidson might not mind going into cap hell, I'd love for us to get him then make a trade for a superstar.. Thats what we need imo.

Josh is no superstar, but if we get him it won't be the last move of the season. But I'd love to have Smith in a Pistons uniform..

Well IMO Josh Smith is no superstar yet, people mostly know about him because of his monstrous blocks and his dunk contest. He would do well for your team but, wouldn't be the superstar, go-to-guy you guys so desperately need. I just think the Pistons should look elsewhere.

I would love to get Josh Smith, nice athletic foward. Stuckey,Smith,Maxiell,Johnson would be sick in the future. Then we could move Prince without having to worry too much about losing defense.
