Josh Hamilton's time with the Rangers may be winding down.

Evan Grant of the Dallas Morning News was asked in a mailbag column why he feels the slugger will sign elsewhere this winter.

"I think somebody's going to pay him $23 million or more. I think the Rangers won't go that far. I think Josh feels this is his one chance at free agency and he's going to get what he can. I think Boston and Baltimore are potential suitors," Grant wrote.
i cant see boston shelling out fat cash this fast after admitting the money the recently spent has all been a mistake. baltimore would be showing they want to be legit contenders though.

Seems that it's more and more leaning towards him going somewhere else. Of those two teams, I'd see Baltimore more likely, and that would definitely put the other teams in the division on notice.

i'd love to see him go to Baltimore. I really hope Texas dishes out the dough but it's seeming less and less likely.

Obviously haha. Rogers won't pony up the money and Hamilton probably wouldn't want to come here. A 3-4-5 of J-Bau-E5-Hamilton would be sooooo awesome though.
