It wouldn't be "shocking" if Larry Johnson and Willie Parker were both released before the start of the season, according to Jason Reid of the Washington Post.
Parker has shown little since signing, and Johnson could be done in by his poor pass protection in last week's game. Running backs play a big role in Shanahan's max protect schemes, and he won't risk his quarterback's health if a back can't pick up a blitz. Clinton Portis is perhaps the best in the league at pass blocking. Ryan Torain and Keiland Williams could end up as Portis' backups instead of Johnson. Aug. 24 - 12:34 pm et

This just shows why Washington won't win anytime soon. From Albert, to these guys, they don't know how to work the FA market. If they do end up cutting these guys, these signings just look even worse then they did with having a 4 RB backfield of injury prone players.
