Just announced a couple of minutes ago from Elway's twitter

John Elway via Twitter: I am excited to announce that John Fox has agreed to terms to become the 14th head coach in Denver Broncos history. Coach Fox is a great fit for us not only with his coaching ability but also with his personality.

Good Luck with that, Dirk Koetter would of been a better hire for the Broncos.

John Fox on being named Head Coach: "I am very thankful to Pat Bowlen and John Elway for giving me the opportunity to coach a football team with such a proud tradition. The Broncos have a culture of winning, and I am excited to continue that legacy.

"I can’t wait to get to work, pushing our players to be the best they can be and representing this community as head coach of the Denver Broncos."

What's your thoughts BB lol.
My thoughts are that i'm having faith in John Fox, unlike some of the other Broncos fan i see on other boards. Maybe a change of scenery will benefit him, plus he is a defensive kind of guy. Which is our biggest problem right now.

John Fox was an excellent defensive coordinator when he was on the Giants, he was also a pretty good coach when he was on the Panthers. I think this is a good move because playing in the AFC West, the Broncos will have to compete with the Raiders, Chiefs, and Chargers. This means 2 great running teams and 1 great passing team, gotta stop them on defense to have a shot at winning, and I think John Fox can implement a good game plan against them.

Figured he wouldn't be out of a job for long. Situational improvement for him, and I hope he does well.

Great hire for the Broncos, even better for John Fox. I said it all season long, as potent as that Bronco offense was...they're defense kept them winning every game. With the kinda numbers Orton and Lloyd put up early on...that team should have swept the division and played last weekend. Really disappointing how much the organization moved away from the defensive principles that made this team so great in the past.

John Fox will straighten out that defense and he's got plenty of talent and veterans on this roster to worth with. If I'm a Broncos fan, I'm ecstatic. This team needs work but it will not take much to get them a division crown and into the playoffs. I would say figuring out what to do with quarterback is the deal-breaker...in which case I'd stick with neck beard and Tebow watching.

I read a report a few weeks ago that the Broncos will be officially re-adopting Orange as the team's primary color in 2012. Yes, this means back to orange home jerseys. John Fox's hire had me thinking of how great that "Orange Crush" defense of the 70's was...and how we need to see a V2.

I'm frustrated by the direction the team is taking. I would have preferred a proven coordinator or college coach than someone who has been in the league this long.
