DIANAPOLIS -- Denver Broncos vice president John Elway said he hopes Tim Tebow is the team's long-term solution at quarterback.

It was a step beyond Elway's statement at season's end that Tebow would be the starter going into training camp. Tebow completed less than half of his passes last season, but posted a series of dramatic comebacks in leading the Broncos to the playoffs, where he threw an 80-yard TD pass to Demaryius Thomas in overtime to beat Pittsburgh in the first round.
Do you guys think he is the long term solution?

No. They need the defense to perform as a top 3 defense each week in order for them just to stay in games. And then they need Tebow to have one good drive at the end of a game to steal a victory. I don't see that working long term.

No matter what is said, he did take them to the Playoffs & lead them to an unprobable win against the Steelers.

I think he is owed this year to prove what he can do with a full off-season and some experience under his belt.

I'd say give him the reigns for a full year and re-evaluate this after that.

I think he should be given a year with a full training camp and a full offseason with his coaches and offense. Then he can be evaluated with no excuses.
