Being widely reported right now by NBA guys on twitter.

JJ Hickson for Omri Casspi and 2012 First round pick (lottery protected in 2012, top 10 protected in 2013, then it goes down for 2014)

Doesn't make much sense for the Cavs

Omri is still young and will be a solid rotation player, and obviously they're hoping they make use of the draft pick whenever they get it. Hickson doesn't figure much into plans since we just drafted Tristan, and Tristan is the same player as he is, but Tristan is smarter and better defensively and better at rebounding. Hickson can't play center.

Also makes us worse this year, so we can get a better pick.

And Hickson wanted a contract he simply was never going to get from us.

I think Cleveland lost the deal, but it had to be made.

Certainly doesn't look good with all the lottery protection on the pick but if the Kings can't get to the playoffs by 2017 with Hickson, then it's pretty safe to say the trade would be unsuccessful for them lol.

Kings going with the Wolves model. Bunch up a bunch of random young guys who don't match or mesh well lol.

Good to see the Cavaliers weren't asking the world for Hickson anymore. LOL

Actually the Suns said no.. Even Steve Kerr on Bill Simmons podcast a little bit ago (not while he was still the GM) said Amare was never available for JJ Hickson.

Makes sense for the Cavs IMO. Opens the door for Thompson, and you get a decent young SF. Kinda interesting for the Kings who have Jason Thompson still...

Yeah, Amar'e was never offered for Hickson, i'll never believe that.

Hickson is an FA next year too, and with a lockout potentially lasting all year, he may never wear a Kings uniform.

Hickson isn't half the player that Carl Landry is, and Carl Landry got lost in the rotation in Sacramento when he was better than the other power forwards on that roster. If there's a season next year, Hickson will be lucky to not fade into obscurity. I'm so happy for Carl Landry. So glad he got out of that hellhole.

Wasn't on the table? According to my sources, it was offered. Why do you think Lebron left cle? Gilbert fell in love with jj, alot of the people in the organization were calling him the next Malone. Gilbert was to stubborn to trade him. Instead he went the cheap route and went with Jamison. Gilbert failed to build, and bring in another super star while Lebron was there. That's one of the reasons why Lebron told, see ya.

Ok what ever.

The suns wanted jj. They knew amare was going to walk so they wanted to get something back instead of being left with nothing. Just because i said sources, you go with lmao?

Heck, the bulls were in the verge of trading for amare in rose's sophomore season. That right there shows that the suns willing to trade amare for young talent.

I know your a cavs fan and it sucks that team absolutely sucked last season because of lebrons departure, but you need to get over your self. I'm just here trying to have a friendly conversation. Take it with a grain of salt if you don't believe my "sources"

Hey, I'm new here. I knew at some point somebody will come out with a, lol, lmao etc.
