Jim Schwartz to be Browns' DC

Apparently former Lions HC Jim Schwartz will replace Ray Horton as DC



Personally I think Horton should get a HC job. TB would be great

The Browns seriously have no idea what they're doing... Horton is one of the best defensive minds in the league.

They only had two questionable losses on the way out, but the Jags got hot for awhile and the Jets saved Rex's job. Every other loss was completely understandable, especially with the likes of Jason Campbell and Brandon Weeden at QB. Firing Chud was the worst management move in the recent history of the NFL. The Browns had arguably the best DC in the league and a historically excellent OC, not to mention a head coach who'd proven to be gutsy and willing to make the right decision in a tough situation. How do you ditch that staff? Makes no sense.

I like Horton, but he's getting too much credit. The defense should have been better than it was quite frankly.

Again, this was probably a rash and dumb decision, but this team was way more talented than a normal 4 win team. They got worse as the season went on, it was concerning.

The defense is going to look worse than it really is on paper when your offense can't sustain drives consistently.
