As expected, the New York Jets hired former Indianapolis Colts offensive coordinator Tom Moore as a consultant.

Moore, 72, an NFL lifer best known as Peyton Manning's longtime guru in Indianapolis, was offered a job last month after visiting the Jets' facility for a speaking engagement. Early in the lockout, Rex Ryan decided to bring in guest speakers, and one of them was Moore, who spoke to Jets coaches on a variety of offensive topics, namely red zone efficiency -- a problem last season for the Jets.

Fuck that.

Isn't Peyton Manning the offensive coordinator?

Tom Moore was a huge part of Peyton's progression, and even though Peyton ultimately made a lot of the decisions on the field Moore would communicate to him and give him the few plays he felt were best. He wasn't the OC this past year though, Clyde Christensen is the current OC for the Colts. The thing is that Moore knows Manning better than anybody and I really didn't want him to go over to New York.

Unfortunately it's just part of the business side of things. The Jets obviously know what kind of valuable information he brings to the game, especially about the Colts, and that's one thing that really ticks me off. It's just like I said, the business side of the NFL.

Lol, right, right..

I love how cocky Jets fans are when they walked into our stadium and with a fucking depleted roster we still took your "amazing" team to the very last drive. Just be ready for next year.
