Jeremy Lamb will likely begin the season as the sixth man of the Oklahoma City Thunder with Russell Westbrook out.

Reggie Jackson will slide into the starter role, which will mean Lamb will likely be the primary scorer of the second unit.

(Lamb's play) is going to be a little bit more magnified now that Russ is out, Kevin Durant said. But he's ready. I know he's ready.

Lamb was acquired from the Houston Rockets last season in Oklahoma City's trade of James Harden.

The Thunder need to play BOTH Lamb of PJ3. Don't waste your draft picks by leaving them on the bench.

Also, I think they could experiment with Thabeet on the floor a bit more. What does it really matter? They'll be over .500 when Russ gets back, but this team ain't no contender anymore. Not unless Brooks actually figures out how to use his young talent.

I'm not so sure PJ3 really needs to see court time, at least not right now.
