Former NBA coach Jeff Van Gundy is currently working as an ESPN analyst, but sees himself coaching again down the road.

"Politicking for a job is not my style," said Van Gundy when asked about the 76ers' vacant position. "I see myself coaching again down the road."

Van Gundy, 47, has a career mark of 430-318 in 8 1/2 seasons with the Knicks (1995-2001) and Rockets (2003-07).

Via Philly Blurbs
Sac Town, Philly, Minni?

Three high profile coaches needs jobs, Avery, Eddie and now he wants to coach again.

Somehow, this doesn`t suprise me. He always talks like he is a coach, so, it would make sense for him to try and get back into the mist of things.

I've listened to him during the Lakers/Rockets games and I keep saying "and that's why you're not coaching" over and over again on his analysis

I wish we would ditch Curry and pick JVG up, he's defense and an all around great coach... but that won't happen and we will tank this off-season anyways.

A dog turd would be a better coach than Michael Curry. I never understood why the Mavs got rid of Avery anyway, he was a great coach. In fact, the only coach to ever get that team into the Finals, and they blew it. Just another testament to the asshole that is Mark Cuban.

I wish we'd drop D'Antoni and bring in JVG.

Hope he doesn get back into coaching, but if he does, then I could listen to his off the wall commentary lol
