On the Celtics front, agent David Falk continues to say he thinks a deal gets done with Boston for free agent forward Jeff Green. One source with knowledge of the talks says it may be in the four years, $40 million neighborhood, but it is not done.
"I’m confident it’ll get done," Falk told SI.com. "I guess they got (Brandon) Bass' (contract) done, which is great. Jeff is trying to get a sense of what the team looks like first before he makes a commitment, but I expect he’ll be there and I expect it’ll be done by the 11th (when the free agency moratorium ends). We’ve gotten a lot of interest from other teams. But as far as Boston, we’re very confident we’ll get it done.

im a fan of his game but to me hes worse than beasley or dwill in terms of not having a real position, but i still like jeff more because he has a better all around game. but thats a lot of cash for a player coming off a HUGE injury that can probably be a major issue down the line.

Anything heart related is downright scary. I hope he's able to return to form. Couldn't he back up Pierce? They're fine at 4 and 5 with Bass/Sully and Garnett/Melo, so they need to find minutes for him somewhere.

I really like how Boston is starting to look right now. Assuming they'll let Terry run the backup PG spot if Allen comes back, they could be 10 deep if Melo can at least give them defensive minutes. God knows he can't be worse than Ryan Hollins.

Pugz, the Celtics intend on using Jeff as a SF, with him as a PF in the small ball lineups (Last years small ball lineup in the playoffs was KG-Pierce-Allen-Dooling-Rondo)

Only reason he played PF was because he was a former Top 5 pick, and there was that Durant fella over there, so they stretched Green as a PF. He's gonna play SF for us
