For his sake, hope he gets traded. He's got a lot of talent and a good shot, just on a stacked Utah team that has a system already that really excludes him.The Jazz will not pick up the third-year option on the contract of guard Morris Almond, who spent a majority of last season in the NBDL.
Almond said he was told by Utah GM Kevin O'Connor that the team would not exercise the option, worth $1.157 million, to bring him back for the 2009-10 season.
"I've seen that coming for a while," Almond said, who added that the team has been trying to trade him in recent weeks.
