Jazz Will Contact John Stockton About Head Coaching Vacancy

The Utah Jazz will contact John Stockton to see if he has any interest in their head coaching vacancy, according to sources.

The Jazz will have an extensive search with as many as 20 candidates.

Stockton has no previous coaching experience and has been reluctant of the sort of spotlight associated with the job.

The Jazz dismissed Ty Corbin in April.

I always thought he would be a coach

He will be either jerry sloan and be there for a long time, or larry bird and coach great a few years and go

I think hed make a new coach because hes so smart, but i have no way of knowing obviously since he hasnt coached before

Perfect person for the job.  Obviously knows the organization very well and has the "look" of a coach.  Maybe he will draft his son out of Gonzaga!!
