"The injury monster simply will not loosen its grip on the Mavericks.
Jason Kidd will miss the next four games, starting tonight against Chris Paul and the Los Angeles Clippers, because of a right groin strain, coach Rick Carlisle said.
"It's been something that's been an issue, but we have to get it resolved,'' Carlisle said. "It was an issue Friday and it clearly was bothering him throughout the whole game. He's likely out through the Memphis game. I don't see him playing this week.''"
