Did Jason Kidd Intentionally Spill Drink on Court to Delay Nets-Lakers?

Brooklyn Nets coach Jason Kidd caused a delay in the final minutes of the Nets' 99-94 loss to the Los Angeles Lakers when Tyshawn Taylor ran into him, causing him to spill his drink.

Kidd explained what happened to the New York Post's Tim Bontemps after the game:
Video shows that Kidd may have said, "Hit me," asking Taylor to bump him intentionally, as it was prior to a crucial free throw in a two-point game with the Nets out of timeouts.

Update: Thursday, November 28, 7:12 p.m. ET
According to Yahoo! Sports' Adrian Wojnarowski, Kidd will be fined $50,000 for his dropped cup.
---End of Update---
Kidd denied dropping the cup intentionally, according to ESPN, saying it "slipped out" of his hand.

Cupgate..

Really though, that series of events including the 2 Lakers in their huddle afterwards were some of the funniest things I've ever seen transpire in the NBA

Did he actually get the have a huddle with his team? Because if it did work, this was pretty brilliant.
