Sadly, he just became our best power hitter. On a brighter note, those power numbers should see a boost being away from Oakland.

The Indians are deep up the middle as an organization anyway.

A good GM giving up on a good power hitter right after an injury for a marginal prospect is a cause for concern for me, that's why I'm not as excited. This team can contend for the AL Central next year if they get another upgrade on offense/defense.

Brantley's inevitable regression should hopefully be offset by Kipnis returning to form.

Brandon Moss' home/road splits from the last three years:

Home:
569 ABs, .232/.317/.459/.776, 31 HRs

Road:
642 ABs, .274/.361/.544/.905, 45 HRs

He should help a ton if healthy. Progressive field is very friendly to left handed power hitters.

I originally saw this and thought, "who would trade for Brandon Moss?" Then I saw his stats. I know I haven't been following baseball as religiously as I used to, but when did Brandon Moss hit 30 homeruns? He has to be the least talked about 30 homerun hitter.
