Andre Iguodala is looking to sign a contract extension with the Nuggets.

"We weren't coming into this thinking this will be a one-year deal," Iguodala said. "... This is definitely a place that I can see myself for more than just a year or two."

Iguodala, under contract for 2012-13 with a player option for 2013-14, sought out Carmelo Anthony while in London to ask him about Denver and coach George Karl.

"He said I would be a perfect fit for Coach Karl. We two would really gel together," Iguodala recounted.

"It's the nature of basketball sometimes, every player and coach are going to have run-ins. George Karl made him a better player and Melo made him a better coach. He had nothing but good things to say about Coach Karl. Seattle was my favorite team growing up so I know a little bit about Coach Karl and his history. He's one of the best coaches in the game, well-respected by much of his peers and much of his players."

Just awesome when players are like this. He is already locked in, which is great for Denver. He'll also probably be willing to take less money to help the team if need be.

Well certainly good news for Denver. I'm excited to see Iggy in a Nuggets uniform.

I think Iggy can have "mini Lebron season's" like 3 years ago, he were having type of those, 20-5-5

he's yet to crack the 20ppg mark in his career, but in a fast paced offense like the Nugs, could see it happening.

Maybe its just me, but I'm not entirely sure he will score a lot. He showed in Philly he doesn't need to score, and with Gallo and Ty Lawson, he could fall into a similar role.
