Do you go after Vince Young, or do you try to get a QB like Luck, Newton, etc. in the draft?

I hope to see the Vikings sign McNabb then go after a QB in round 3-4. Maybe someone like Nick Foles could fall to us who had a great game against Iowa and impressed me. Also we could go even later and look at Ponder, Daulton. I know people say get Locker, get Mallet. I do not see those two qb's making an impact in their first few years and would need a vet or some help. The Vikings have no one who is used to being QB in the NFL is Pat Ramsey. LOL. We need as much help as we can get but, I would like to work on the defense first or the Line in the draft. With a bad O-Line do you think a rookie would do good ? Me either.

For the Vikings well being, DO NOT get Vince Young. Go after McNabb or something like that, get a decent QB in the draft for future years.

It looks like Josh McDaniels is going to replace Bevell as OC...meaning the West Coast offense is out, thank fucking God. McDaniels would look to install a way more potent passing attack, putting defenses on their heels, utilizing the downfield abilities of Sidney Rice and Percy Harvin. This is what worked for us during the Randy Moss era and our offense never looked better when Brett was gunslinging in 2009.

That said, Ryan Mallett is looking more and more like our top target in the draft. His big arm and accuracy fit what McDaniels would look to do...but whether or not Mallett is still around come pick 12, remains to be seen. Arizona sits ahead of us, they are very QB needy, but I do have this feeling they covet Cam Newton more.
