How much would you be willing to pay him? How much does he deserve?

With his elite passing skills and slightly above average defense, I'd go 6-8 mill per, for like 3 years.

He's got a shooter at the other guard position, an elite PF with range out to Kentucky and a good low post center. His cast is pretty decent, they just need more scoring out of him, which they can't get

he needs a better bench for when hes with them and his cast needs to stay healthy. that can go for him too.

I'd probably go 4 years 30 million, and not go much higher. I'd rather 3 years but I doubt he would go for that. I've always looked at him differently, when everyone was buying into the hype I was saying he was overrated. He's not a threat to score, 35.6% from the field over three seasons is probably one of the worst marks in the NBA. His defense is slightly above average at best, if that. And I've always thought of him as more of a flashy passer than elite passer, he's never put up elite assist numbers.

His ACL injury really derailed his development. Hopefully he can get his shot going like it was before that injury.

you were just a pure rubio doubter before he was drafted. like many were. you cant look back and say you didnt expect him to reach his potential because he was overrated. everyone said that about him. not many actually could backup their doubts, though.

and i think hed look more like an elite passer if he had more dunk ready players, and pure shooters.

he is an elite passer, because hes a willing passer. thats rare these days.

I didn't know anything about Rubio before he was drafted lol, I'm talking about his rookie season when people were slobbering over him.

Rubio's at the point in his career when the best way to find his value is to look at scenarios where he's subtracted from the equation. He's very important to the Wolves--that much is for sure

The thing with Rubio that I said about him his rookie year, that sounded crazy, was that he was already a finished product. He has been playing in professional leagues since he was like 15 or 16, if he hadnt developed a jumper or good finishing skills, its not ever going to happen
