How do LeBron's peers feel about the NBA's Chosen One?

I don't think they're bitter at all. In fact that's roughly the numbers I expected to see. Are you arguing that LeBron isn't naturally gifted? Yea he works his ass off but I'd say he's gifted physically. Do you argue that he's not a flopper? I think he is, heck I know he is.

If it's just the "23% think he'll be the best in NBA History when he's retired" that means they're bitter then... just wow. A lot of people don't think he'll be considered better than MJ so again I can't say I'm surprised by the number.

However, I AM surprised so few of his peers would take less money to play with him. I think he's a great player and talent to build around and if you've been playing for years without getting a ring you'd have to look no further. Though I also wonder if a lot of players are trying to lie in this and give the impression that they want to beat him just for the sake of beating the best in the league, choosing that competitive nature so many athletes have over the thirst for a championship.

I think that's the only reason we even signed him.

Half of your salary is a pretty big cut, though.

Half for a guy that has like a max contract is way too much to give up. For players that "only" earn like 3 mil a year they most likely don't really care where they play and want as much money as possible.

So yeah, I don't think you'd find many people.

Players don't really care about winning.  You'll see guys like Ray Allen start ring chasing when they're outside of their prime, but their main agenda is to make as much money as possible.

They care about the money they make, and they care about minutes they play because that leads to more money.

Playing with Lebron could also lead to more money.

It's his league in all honestly, so I can't imagine he cares much.
