Maybe there is enough time before this month's trade deadline for Indiana to find a trade partner willing to gamble on Danny Granger.

This much we do know, though: It's not going to be Houston. One source with knowledge of Houston's thinking left little doubt that recent reports portraying the Rockets as a potential suitor for Granger, as they were in the past long before James Harden showed up, were inaccurate.

Why do they want to trade Granger so badly it seems? Why not see how he fits with the team first lol.

Yeah, there's no way he hurts the team, and he'll take pressure off of Paul George.

If he doesn't play well when he comes back, his value can be worse

I would very much be on board with Houston pursuing him, though. I don't want to give up Parsons but if we can get a consistent second scorer for the nights that Harden goes ice cold out of nowhere, I'm in. I'd even be OK to see Parsons go for Granger, and you all know how much I like Parsons. He'd fit in great in Indy, too.
