T.J. Houshmandzadeh, the Bengals' highest profile potential free agent this offseason, missed what could be his final game with the team. A back injury he said he sustained against the Eagles in November held him out of the game. "I kind of had a feeling about how I felt (Saturday)," Houshmandzadeh said. Next will be a game of money ball. "I don't know what's next," he said. "I'm curious and excited to see what's going to happen in the next couple of months." The Bengals could use their franchise tag on Houshmandzadeh. It would limit his movement in free agency but guarantee him a one-year salary equal to the average of the top five at his position. Would he sit out were he slapped with the tag? "I'm not saying that," Houshmandzadeh said. "I'm just saying I don't want to be franchised. It's a lot of money, but the situation I'm in I'd prefer to have a contract. Who wouldn't?" -- Cincinnati Enquirer
Yeah, what else. We're going to lose both of our WR's. What else can go wrong with this team!?
