Has anyone ever read this site (it's on ESPN's TrueHoop Blog)? I just listened to a podcast (go to itunes and download the last episode of the hornets247 show In The Know) and they had Henry Abbott on basically the entire show just talking about how the game could be changed.

They talked about a ton of things. I don't think they were necessarily saying the game should do this, but more so just coming up with ideas. Some were stupid, some were interesting, don't think I'd like the majority of them though.

A few I remember were in "Hack-a-Shaq" situations the team should have the ability to choose free throws or being able to inbound the ball, kind of accept or decline the foul like football. Another was to just get rid of foul outs and instead make it something like, if a player picks up their 6th foul the other team gets two free throws, 7th foul is two free throws and posession, and just keep increasing things to where you basically start to force the coach into deciding if he should keep that guy on the court or not. They talked about flopping and how the players feel they have to do it because if they don't, the refs won't make a call they should have made in the first place. And so on.

Here's the podcast:
