Hockey HOF welcomes 4 new members

Mats Sundin, Joe Sakic, Pavel Bure, and Adam Oates are being inducted in the player category of the Hockey Hall of Fame, according to an ESPN.com report.

The former star NHL forwards were presented with their member rings at a news conference Monday morning.
A formal induction ceremony will be held in the evening.

So happy to see my favourite player in the HHOF. Mats Sundin is the true definition of a captain in my opinion, so loyal to the city, and always stood up for our guys on the ice - played with such passion. I could say the same about Sakic with Colorado. Bure and Oates obviously deserved to be inducted as well. Great class.

People can say what they want about Sundin. I loved him when he was on the Leafs. Sakic was also an awesome player. Overall, you can't really argue with these inductions.
