An accidental heroin overdose killed Garrett Reid, the son of Eagles head coach Andy Reid, a coroner said Thursday.

Northampton County Coroner Zachary Lysek announced the findings with investigators, who said numerous syringes and needles were discovered in a gym bag in Garrett Reid's room.

It's a shame what happened with Garrett Reid. This is one good reason that our parents, coaches and teachers tell you to stay off drugs.

Lolwut? Garret Reid is responsible for his death, nobody else; not coaches, parents, teachers, etc. He knew what he was getting into and what could result from his usage.

I agree with Rip, "accidental overdose" is just terrible wording. He didn't accidentally inject himself with herion fuck outta here

"Accidental overdose" in the sense that he wasn't trying to kill himself.
