Hedo Turkoglu has agreed in principle to sign with the Trail Blazers, according to sources.

Turkoglu cannot sign a contract with Portland until Wednesday, after the NBA has released the salary cap for the 2009-10 season.

The deal is believed to be worth roughly $50 million over five years.

Turkoglu had dinner with Blazers coach Nate McMillan in Florida on Wednesday, and the forward flew to Portland to visit the team and city on Thursday.

Rios just because Toronto has some Euoro's doesn't mean they will call. Rudy's only making 1.1 million dollars and was a damn good player. He'd be kind of harrd to get IMO.

And for him to go overseas he would need to be bought out..

He wont take a huge drop like that in minutes. If anything webster's and outlaw minutes will be really cut down. He could see some time from the 1-3.

Yeah Rudy's just going to have to deal with it, but this is a good move for Portland, they lack a shooter but even though this makes them alot better it really doesnt shift whats going on at the top of the West, they could still come out with a 3 seed, I can even see them going the distance with San An, but not the Lakers.

It makes sense since we a few European players, European players love Toronto and we are stuck at the SF position. Calderon and Rudy would be a nice duo, both from Spain. I'm sure Calderon would love it. I can only dream though, Fernandez could be used as a great 6th man in Portland.
