Shaun Livingston isn’t coming along for the ride. According to Kevin McHale and Jim Stack, their efforts to sign the former Los Angeles Clippers guard are over and they said he is headed for Miami, a signing that has been neither confirmed nor announced.

Just a lil news in a t-wolves article. Idk i think shaun can recover and play well. I remember hearing about him in hs. He definetly isnt the next magic but he can play when healthy.

Glad to see him back, he had some good potential. Hopefully he is back and will play better than ever.

I hope he does well, but I don't know that's a bad injury.... I remember seeing him come down wrong and getting injured. That was ugly...

Another candidate could be tossed into the Heat's point guard derby: Shaun Livingston. Livingston's agent told the South Florida Sun-Sentinel that the former Clipper -- who drew earlier interest from Portland and Minnesota -- is leaning toward signing with Miami.

Livingston, 23, the fourth pick in the 2004 draft, hasn't played since Feburary 2007 because of a knee injury. Miami is as good a place as any for the 6-foot-7 Livingston to earn playing time, considering the Heat are auditioning unproven Chris Quinn, career backup Marcus Banks and rookie Mario Chalmers for the starting job. Pat Riley holds Livingston in high regard, according to the Sun-Sentinel:

Good I hope we do sign him
