The Atlanta Hawks and Milwaukee Bucks have held discussions in recent days involving sign-and-trades of Brandon Jennings for Jeff Teague.

Larry Drew, formerly head coach of the Hawks and now with the Bucks, would like to acquire Teague.

The Hawks would have to give up their pursuit of Monta Ellis knowing that the backcourt pairing has already failed to yield positive results.

The Hawks looked like they were about to get out of mediocrity and finally rebuild, and Ferry just took em right back in.

Jennings would be a solid pickup for the Atlanta Hawks. Will be interesting to see if these talks proceed and end up happening. Teague is a great fit with Larry Drew, and would be a good fit in Milwaukee as well. The Hawks are not wanting to completely re-build for some reason, so they need to bring in a scoring guard and Jennings would fit that bill. Not sure why Atlanta doesn't just re-build for once...but this is a good move if they want to continue with their mediocrity.

Jennings is a mediocre player.

I understand how y'all feel but the Hawks need a player with Jennings attitude and fearless personality. I love Teague but he takes himself out of big games so often and so easily. Plus he doesn't attack on both ends the way BJ does.

Didn't Bynum also meet with Atlanta? If he's back to healthy and they sign him to a fairly cheap contract I actually like their offseason moves.

but it still wouldn't be a long contract. If it's $30M max for a 2 year deal, hypothetically, for a guy that people argued was the 2nd best Center in the NBA a year ago, then yea it could be a steal. But who the hell knows how his knee plays out.

Has a big time RFA ever actually signed the qo?  I'm starting to think Jennings may be the first.
