ESPN's John Clayton predicts that the Seahawks will not be able to re-sign free agent Matt Hasselbeck.

If the Seahawks were serious about retaining the 36-year-old Hasselbeck, they would've gotten a deal done before the lockout. "I think they'll let him test the market," speculates Clayton. This. Carroll is trying to bring a youthful approach to the team, like he has with every single of his teams, and it is just not going to work with Matt. He's finished anyways though.
