Not much NFL news to note as of late but...

The Miami Herald reports that NBC is targeting former Patriots safety Rodney Harrison and Colts head coach Tony Dungy, to fill vacant roles in their "Football Night in America" cast.

NBC has two vacant seats following the departures of Cris Collinsworth and Jerome Bettis. Collinsworth will go from the studio to the booth, pairing with Al Michaels for games...while Bettis was recently told by NBC that he would not be brought back for another season. -AE

Dungy will be good.
Absolutely.

His view on football is one of the most unique, and if anyone has read his book Quiet Strength, they'll understand what I mean.

All I know is that someday Ray Lewis is going to give us the greatest former player analysis we have ever seen. I see Ray bringing the same type of cold-hard honesty that Barkley does to the NBA...but with a hell of a lot more intensity.
