James Harden plans to be an active member of the Houston Rockets' recruiting efforts this summer.

"Hell, yeah," Harden said. "There's a lot of good options out there."

Asked specifically about Dwight Howard, Harden broke into a smile and added: "Maybe. Possibly."

The Rockets will have max-level cap space to utilize this summer.

I think that's easier said than done.  I remember Chris Paul would try every summer but nobody ever wanted to play in New Orleans.  I just don't really see Dwight or Josh Smith going to play in Houston.

If CP3/Dwight doesn't land in ATL, Josh Smith will surely be a Rocket. Nobody else would dare give him a max contract

I personally think Josh Smith might be the best option of all three for Houston.

Could honestly see Dwight or Smith going there.

I formally declare that I want Josh Smith over either CP3 or Dwight. Call me crazy if you want, but I think we're better with a lesser known but very good center with a great power forward. Think of the defense Omer and Josh would play. Damn.

Cut Lin.

There is no reference. You just said you'd take Josh Smith over CP3.

Disgusting

Because all the teams in the NBA are jumping at the opportunity to trade their assets for Linsanity.

The best they'd get for Lin is Amare Stoudemire. If that.

yea I think Lin can be decent off the bench. It's still ridiculous how much he got from a small sample of great games last year, games where he turned it over a ton, and made some real lucky falling down toss it against the backboard type of shots.

but he can be good off the bench and I'd say Smith is the most likely person to go there. I doubt Dwight joins Houston, and i still hold that Dwight doesn't leave LA.
