Again, @jonmorosi and I are reporting that #Brewers are sending Greinke to #Angels for SS Jean Segura and two Double A pitchers. Done deal.
Good god that rotation.

Pretty good deal for the Angels, kind of feel like that's a lackluster package for an ace.

I admittedly don't know much about Segura, pretty sure he's a decent prospect but didn't know he could be the one-and-only guy worth mentioning in a package for an ace. Although outside of his Cy Young season Greinke never really was a bona fide ace production wise I guess.

Angels rotation looks insanely scary now. Weaver and CJ Wilson have pitched phenomenally and you have to figure that Haren and/or Ervin Santana turn it around. They're way better pitchers than their stats are showing.

With Trumbo's improvements, Trout absolutely killing it the way no one expected him to do this early, and Kendrys Morales coming back and being pretty decent with the stick, their lineup looks way better now than I thought it was going to be at the start of the year. They're legit World Series contenders now.

Big blow to the Rangers too, they not only lost out on Greinke but they lost him to a division rival and the team they're battling with for the division crown. You'll probably see them making some type of counter-move before the deadline.

Yea agreed BC. Not a lot of options left for them but there are still some mid rotation guys out there. I also read somewhere that Garza is not getting traded.

4 man rotation of Weaver, Haren, Greinke, and Wilson. The MVP, Trumbo and Pujols.

Good luck beating that in a 7 game series.
