Mike Mazzeo/ESPN.com - After New England's Super Bowl loss to New York on Sunday night, Gisele Bunchen lashed out at the team's receivers for failing to haul in her husband's passes.

The model is married to Patriots quarterback Tom Brady.

"My husband can not f------ throw the ball and catch the ball at the same time. I can't believe they dropped the ball so many times," Bundchen said.

Wide receiver Deion Branch and tight end Aaron Hernandez dropped passes on New England's final drive.

After the game, Wes Welker said he let the team down when he failed to come up with a Brady pass he says he catches "1,000 times."

Brady overthrew the passes, specifically the one to Welker. He drastically underthrew Gronk on the deep ball that got picked. Innacurate at times, most notably when he threw it behind Branch for what would have been a huge gain.

There were more bad throws than drops. Plus the fact, even if you think that, you dont say it. Everyone in that lockerroom is mad at Brady now; its just not the Patriot Way.

I heard that she said this because she was getting harassed by Giants fans saying "our quarterback is better then your husband". Not the right thing to say, but it was probably the heat of the moment.

She was upset, and fans said something to her, so you knew she would say something back. Plus, I saw someone videotaped her saying it from their phone. I don't think it's that big of a deal, but they'll try to make it one.

Welker has to catch that ball, and Hernandez needs to catch that ball on the final drive. Unless i'm missing one all the other ones had to do with Brady as much as it did with the receivers.

the one pass across the middle, towards the end of the game after NY scoring, to Deion Branch should have been caught, easily would have been a 30+ yard gain that was necessary. You'd expect him to grab that one, right at the numbers..he has experience in those games. that would have gotten rid of the one that Hernandez dropped immediately after.

I honestly think all drops were drops and not bad throws. They weren't excellent throws, but if the ball hits you in the hands, as a professional WR in the NFL, you have to catch it.

The Welker pass was overthrown.
The Gronk pass was terribly underthrown, by at least 5-10 yards
One of the Branch passes was tipped
The other Branch pass was thrown behind him

The only real drop was Hernandez's drop on 2nd & 10. But with 50-ish or seconds left, and no timeouts left, a catch across the middle would have hurt us more than it helped, especially since Branch caught a pass and went out of bounds for 13 yards the next play.

The main reasons we lost was
1. Brady overthrowing Welker
2. Belichick's challenge, losing a timeout
3. Logan Mankins "blocking"
4. Injured, non-100% Gronk
5. Giants playing better than the Pats

Its not Welker's fault we lost, sorry to tell you that Giselle/ESPN/everyone else

The Welker pass was overthrown, but if you get both hands on the ball I call that a drop. That was the biggest one, as all the rest came after it.

If you replay the video, Brady has the vertical space to throw the ball at a far lower angle. If the ball is thrown at a lower angle, it hits Welker in stride for either a gain to the 16 yard line, or a touchdown. Game over. Its not like he threw it so high because of pressure from the DL.. he had so much time. Plus, as if you can see well from the shot at 0:31, if Welker does indeed grab it, he is still rotating, and will fall to the ground with a force so strong that he could have the ball pop out from contact with the ground. Obviously, if Welker caught it, it would have been great. But if Brady actually threw the ball well, it wouldnt have been an issue

It hit him perfectly in the hands, I don't care if the throw could have been better. He was in perfect position to make that catch and he dropped it. Nobody's fault but Welker's.

Yes it was overthrown, but I think that is a catch-able ball.

Brady has made that throw hundreds of times. He's GOTTA throw the ball more accurately. To me, it's 50/50. 50% of the blame is on Tom, the other 50% is on Welker. It was a tough catch and a bad throw, but he had his hands on it. You can't discount either one of them. Both are at fault.
