Seriously though, I wanted McGahee but it would have taken him too long to learn the system so good move.

Could bring fire to the team, I don't necessarily hate this but I don't love it either

Good to bring a vet in, but I still have faith in the Giants stable of backs.

I would have preferred McGahee too. might have actually been a somewhat decent influence on Wilson. Best thing Jacobs will do for us is protect eli on 3rd and long. unless they're stupid and run Scott screen passes or delayed handoffs, which they typically do.

Jacobs has some serious tread on the tires. I'm sure he can fill some blocking roles and short yardage plays.

I don't think he'll do much in the grand scheme, Wilson is still the man despite his performance the other night.

For now, he'll do while Wilson gets over his fumbling issues. It'll take some time, but I think BJ will add some fuel to this team.

We already looked pretty damn good in the air.

I used to fucking hate playing the Giants when Jacobs was in his prime. He used to run shit against our bitch defense.

I like the signing for the Giants.  If Wilson can't improve his issues holding onto the ball Jacobs could see a lot more time than some are predicting but for the mean time he will/should give Eli a lot better pass protection on 3rd & long

didn't wilson only fumble last year that one game against the Cowboys? It's almost like they've got his number.

It might actually be good that he hasn't played in a year. Like Fuhgs said, fresh wheels back there and a lot of time since he's had to deal with nagging injuries. He'll primarly be a 3rd down back and probably nothing more than that unless Wilson really sucks it up the next two weeks.

Well, not 3rd back anymore right now...

Scott got injured at practice today. Not sure what it is yet though.

So Wilson, Jacobs, Cox?

3rd *down* back, not 3rd on depth chart. They would play Jacobs over Scott just for his pass protection skills since neither Wilson or Scott are good on screen passes.

Shit like this makes me hate what Wilson could become if he doesnt get his act together. First he stands on the sideline in the same spot crying then talks shit in a tweet. Pathetic.
