Giants Punter Steve Weatherford Gets Drug Tested 1 Day After Great Game


 

New York Giants punter Steve Weatherford had himself a great game against the Dallas Cowboys on Sunday, but he was randomly drug tested on Monday.
 
Weatherford tweeted a picture of the note:
The 30-year-old had two punts of at least 65 yards, including a 68-yard punt, and he pinned two of his five punts inside the 20-yard line. He averaged 54.6 yards per punt, with a net average of 51.6 yards.
 
Earlier this year, Weatherford showed that he is in pretty good shape:
 
 
He isn't the first punter to be tested after a good game this season. Indianapolis Colts punter Pat McAfee was randomly tested after he put a big hit on Denver Broncos returner Trindon Holliday.
 
Both punters were oddly tested after noteworthy performances.

He looked beast last year. And the year before that. 
 
And he had ridiculous winds behind him a few times in that game. Of all the players you'd want to test after a "great performance", why a fucking punter? Why not every LB that has a great game since 90% of them look like Hercules?
