Giants claim WR Devin Thomas

One day after signing former first-rounder Michael Clayton, the Giants claimed Devin Thomas off waivers from the Panthers according to Mike Garafolo of the Newark Star Ledger. The corresponding move was fullback Madison Hedgeock to injured reserve.

Thomas, a second-round pick of the Redskins, had only 40 receptions for 445 yards and three touchdowns in his first two seasons with Washington. He played in four games for the 'Skins this season before being waived.

Interesting pick-up by the Giants. Clearly in need of a WR with Nicks out for a bit..

Wait they got Clayton and Thomas? Nice, I always thought those guys should be on a team that uses them. They should have a nasty receiving core when they are all healthy.
