It was much needed, hopefully Stokley can come in and play half as well as Steve Smith did in the slot...
Or well enough to play as the #2 so we can move Manningham into the slot where I think he's do much better.
We really need Devin Thomas and Beckum to step up

I agree Manningham would be more suited as a slot reciever, HOWEVER, this is a precautionary signing.
They're afraid Hakeem Nicks' knee bruise will sideline him on Monday night's game so they added a veteran receiver. No idea if this is a short-term addition or if he could stick with the club all season.
