-----------

Believe it or not, the 42-year old Giambi has agreed to a minor league deal with Cleveland, to include a Spring Training invite. Indians have a DH gap with Hafner signing in NY but does Jason have enough left in the tank to make the 25-man roster? He wan't bad as a pinch-hitter in Colorado but I have to think Cleveland has plans to use Santana and Aviles in the DH spot, especially against lefties.

Oh wow... Francona is really reaching out this Spring to see who still has any gas left in the tank.

I'd be real surprised if Giambi made the roster. Looked awful last year.

The Indians current DH is Mike Aviles, who is also slotted to be our utility infielder so he has a decent shot.

I think some minor leaguer would have a better shot lol. But then again I don't really know your farm system lol.

No one worth mentioning as far as hitting goes in the upper levels. All of their good talent is in the lower levels.
