Garrard Close To Deal With Jets

David Garrard and the New York Jets are close on a deal.

Garrard worked out for the Jets on Thursday.

Garrard has not played in a regular season game since 2010.

This doesn't really surprise me. I read somewhere that they were gonna bring like 5 QB's into TC and just let em battle it out for spots.


Hope he fairs well though. I've always liked Garrard and he'd be a decent backup/spot starter for the jets imo.
